There are so many restaurant newcomers and eatery concepts that have opened their doors in the Hamptons and North Fork for the summer. Remember, these pop up restaurants are booming with popularity, so make your reservations in advance before they close shop at the end of the season.

Below is a selection of new Hamptons and North Fork restaurants that have popped up on the scene for the summer on the East End.

CrazyShake® by Black Tap at The Clubhouse

CrazyShake® by Black Tap, a dessert-only pop-up at The Clubhouse, has popped up for the summer season in the Hamptons. The pop-up, opened every weekend, Friday-Sunday, until Labor Day (9/6), will feature Black Tap’s world-famous CrazyShake® Milkshakes, Classic Shakes and brand-new desserts including CrazySundae™ ice cream sundaes and CrazyCone™ ice cream cones.

New menu additions will include the S’mores CrazySundae™ made with vanilla soft serve, graham crackers, marshmallow fluff, hot fudge, chocolate chunks, and a toasted s’mores sandwich served in a playful clear Chinese takeout box; and the Bam Bam CrazyCone™ made with vanilla soft serve in a waffle cone with a vanilla icing and mochi rim and topped with a fruity pebbles rice Krispy treat, and fruity pebbles sprinkled on top.

Il Buco al Mare

Il Buco al Mare has recently opened for the Hamptons summer season on Main Street in Amagasnett. The restaurant highlights local seafood and produce combined with the relaxed menu of Bottega il Buco in Ibiza, Spain.

The menu features ancient grain focaccia, imported tinned fish, and local fare from the wood burning oven, with a wine list geared toward small boutique producers. A beautiful outdoor space enhances the summer vibe.

Notable dishes that highlight the Hamptons’ local bounty include Ancient Grain Focaccia with oil-cured anchovies, tomato and pepperoncino; Tuna cheek sashimi with colatura and citrus; Little neck clams, Bernardo’s bacon and grilled bread; Blistered prawns, fresno chili and ginger; and Duck wings and dry rub. A sweet finish can be had with Panna cotta + 10yr balsamic; Harry’s Berries strawberry crostata and local cream; a Mint Chocolate Ice Cream Sandwich, and more.

Il Buco al Mare is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Hours are Sunday-Thursday 12-9pm, and Friday-Saturday 12-10pm.

Milk Bar at Gurney’s Resorts

This summer, Milk Bar will be serving up delicious treats from their pop-up location at Gurney’s Star Island Resort & Marina.

Their beloved desserts will also be available at the property’s Italian pizzeria and café Il Forno. At Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa, a selection of Milk Bar’s classic and beloved items will be available at the property’s grab and go store, OG Coffee & Juice. Guests booking their stay can also request for Milk Bar items to be available in their room upon arrival for an extra sweet start to any getaway.

Menu items available include the iconic Milk Bar birthday cake, tins of the brand’s selection of cookies, and brand merch. The collaboration includes Milk Bar’s ice cream with a specially created signature seasonal flavor, Strawberry Shortcake soft serve, available all summer.

Kissaki x Fish Cheeks

New York City based omakase restaurant, Kissaki, has partnered with NYC Thai restaurant, Fish Cheeks, to open a pop up concept at the Montauk Angler’s Club on East Lake Drive.

The menu features southern Thai highlights from Fish Cheeks along with Kissaki’s full sushi menu. Kissaki x Fish Cheeks will be open until October 31st from 12-9pm daily. No reservations. Dine in at covered patio overlooking the marina. Delivery and takeout are also available.

Sí Sí at EHP Resort & Marina

East Hampton

Set on the tranquil Three Mile Harbor, the new EHP Resort & Marina (formerly East Hampton Point) opens their coastal Mediterranean restaurant, Sí Sí.

Executive Chef Dane Sayles, formerly of Gurney’s Resorts, is behind the menu that delivers a classic but innovative take on renowned cuisine from the likes of Italy, Spain, Greece, Morocco and Turkey. Fresh, seasonal ingredients are integral to each dish. Standout menu items include their signature Seafood Paella, Whole Roasted Branzino filled with Baby Spinach and Wild Mushrooms, and a selection of handmade pastas such as a Bucatini Verde with Lobster.

Periodic live music from a rotating series of local artists and DJs will complete the experience. Sí Sí is open for lunch and dinner, as well as private events.

Demarchelier Bistro

Greenport

Demarchelier Bistro is celebrating the season in style at their newest location on Main Street in Greenport. Situated in the charming shopping village, the latest incarnation of the former Upper East Side restaurant pays tribute to all the charms and sophistication of France with a unique American twist.

Café classics include the Steak Tartare, Duck Confit, Salad Nicoise Classic, Pomme Dauphine, and the Quiche of the Day. Demarchelier Bistro’s dessert menu includes Chocolate Fondant or Crème Brulée.
