Morty’s Oyster Stand Celebrates Sustainable Seafood in the Hamptons

Located in Amagansett on the Napeague stretch, Morty’s Oyster Stand is a relaxed and refined restaurant and bar in the Hamptons inspired by sustainable seafood, a rotating list of East Coast Oysters, and coastal cuisine. The restaurant offers plenty of spacious outdoor seating and ample parking on the side of the restaurant.

Guests can enjoy reasonably priced, flavorful and fresh food in a casual yet charming atmosphere. Morty’s Oyster Stand offers a menu made with locally sourced ingredients and fresh cocktails all paired with excellent, friendly service.

The Interior

New for the summer of 2021, Morty’s has debuted an upgraded indoor and outdoor dining area. The space features Hamptons-style decor with navy cedar shingles and grey accents throughout. Inside, there is French toile wallpaper custom printed with iconic local images.

The Menu

The lunch menu begins with a variety of raw, chilled seafood as well as ceviche, crudos, and seafood platters. Notable selections include the Yellowfin Tuna Tostada, Daily Seafood Salad Ceviche, and Oysters. Oysters are sourced from Cape Cod, Prince Edward Island, and Lake Montauk.

Starters include Maine Mussels, Calamari & Seafood Fritti, and Local Steamer Clams.

The main courses for lunch include the LOMO Steak Sandwich, Buttermilk Brined Hot Chicken Melt, Morty’s Lobster Roll, and the Imperial Aged Burger. A popular salad to start is the Leaf Greens/Summer Vegetables with baby tomatoes, chickpeas, Catapano goat cheese crumble, and Dijon dressing.

Beverages at Morty’s Oyster Stand features a rotating list of frozen cocktails, specialty cocktails, craft beers and wine. Cyril’s famous BBC (Bailey’s Banana Colada) holds a special place on the menu, alongside additional frozen drinks such as the Sabrosa, a mezcal watermelon cooler with apricot, lime and cayenne.

The beer selection highlights craft breweries such as Coney Island, Narragansett, Stillwater and Montauk Brewery. The wine list features a variety of roses, summer reds and whites as well as champagne and sparkling wines.

For dessert, the refreshing and creamy Key Lime Pie knows how to hit the spot!

Back By Popular Demand: Question Party!?

Back by popular demand for its second summer: Morty’s Oyster Stand hosts Question Party!? a comedy-meets-trivia experience. Every Tuesday evening, guests can participate to have a laugh, and flex their trivia skills over summer cocktails and dinner.

Hours and Additional Information

Morty’s Oyster Stand currently serves lunch and dinner seven days a week from 12-9pm. The bar remains open late. Reservations may be made via Resy.

Morty’s is also available for catering.
