Here are 10 must-visit Hamptons restaurants that deliver delicious fall flavors while still offering that off-season charm.
Arthur & Sons
Bridgehampton
Located on the Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike, Arthur & Sons founder Chef Joe Isidori takes on classic Italian American dishes he grew up preparing and eating, a mix of family recipes and elevated new dishes.
Guests can expect to see “old school” New York Italian American classics and signature appetizers such as meatballs with ricotta, Caesar salad, fried calamari, baked clams oreganata and sausage & peppers with shaved provolone. Entree highlights include spicy rigatoni alla vodka, chicken parmigiana, shrimp scampi, spaghetti carbonara and veal marsala.
Additionally, house specialties pay tribute to the real classics such as Old School Sunday Gravy, Chicken Alla Vodka, Eggplant Parmigiana and Rigatoni alla Norma “Al Forno.” Classic Italian desserts offer a perfect end to the meal with “Spumoni My Way.”

Calissa
Water Mill
Calissa in Water Mill, the Hamptons Mediterranean hotspot, is set to once again welcome the Calissa Chalet experience on November 8th. Calissa Chalet bringing the ultimate winter ski lounge vibes back to the Hamptons.
This cozy, après-ski-inspired experience will feature everything you need to warm up, from spiked cocoa to fondue and more. The menu will include dishes like Spicy Kafteri Dip with roasted red peppers and whipped feta, or Crispy Calamari. Seasonal favorites will also be on offer, including Gruyere Fondue served with grilled bread, cheddar, and apples, or satisfy your sweet tooth with a decadent Chocolate Fondue accompanied by cream puffs and strawberries.
To stay toasty, sip on hot drinks like the Cinnamon Spiked Hot Chocolate, Hot Toddy, Mulled Wine, or Rakomelo. For something a bit more refreshing, try a Moscow Mule, Greek Negroni, or Hugo Spritz.

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn

Claude’s at the Southampton Inn is an excellent family friendly dining destination that is open year-round. Check out their weekly specials including Monday Pasta Nights at Claude’s where kids under 12 eat free, and Jazz Night every Thursday with rotating entertainers each week.
Sunday Funday at Claude’s is also a great excuse to get out and about this fall. That weekend brunch special features bottomless mimosas from 10am-4pm, plus an all-day happy hour from 10am-9pm. Outdoor patio seating is available.
El Verano
East Hampton
El Verano in Southampton is the only high-end Mexican restaurant out east.
El Verano’s ever-evolving menu of classic Mexican fare now includes dishes topped with Chef Medina’s very own new caviar line, Camp Caviar. Menu highlights include El Verano Platter (Seafood Tower), El Camp Avocado Toast, Sea Bass Sarandeado, Long Island slow-roasted duck carnitas.
The interior is inspired by the summer houses in Mexico, aiming to recreate the tranquil nostalgic atmosphere of a summer getaway to Mexico. Outdoor seating is also available.

Elaia Estiatorio in Bridgehampton offers an authentic Greek dining experience that transports you straight to the Mediterranean. A mainstay in the Hamptons year-round, one of their biggest draws of the fall season is their daily Happy Hour specials menu. The Happy Hour menu is available at the bar as well as the dining room.
A recent fall special on the menu included House made Potato Gnocchi w/chorizo, figs, Riviera olives & porcini reduction; and dishes to try this season are the 14 Day Dry-Aged Ribeye, Khachapurri, and the Vegetarian Lauraine. Sunday brunch is also available.
Nick & Toni’s
East Hampton
Rooted in farm to table Mediterranean cuisine, Nick & Toni’s has always strived to source everything possible locally. From the woodburning oven in the dining room to the 1-acre garden behind the restaurant, the menu revolves around seasonal produce prepared simply with emphasis on the natural flavors.
This fall, Nick & Toni’s is excited to announce the return of #WineWednesday Workshops. Founded by Honest Man Hospitality beverage director and certified sommelier Chimene Visser Macnaughton, this collaboration with Luis Marin and Wainscott Main Wine & Spirits is in its 11th year on the East End. The weekly classes offer certification-level wine education designed around themed tasting flights.
Seminars are open to all levels and held Wednesdays from 5:30-7pm. Tickets are $35 per week in advance.

This fall, Smokey Buns in East Hampton is offering a Smokey Combo for $20 with a Happy Hour from 3-6pm weekdays. The Smokey Combo includes a cheeseburger, fries and any shake.
The Smokey Classics section, which is a must-try this season, includes a Classic SmashBurger, All-American Smash Cheeseburger, and Spicy Chickenwich, just to name a few. For sides, there’s Naked Fries, Cheese Fries, Loaded ‘The Works’ Fries. The Burger D.I.Y. section allows customization with different patties like Classic Smash, Blackened Fish, Mushroom, and Crispy Chicken, along with various toppings and cheeses.
Smokey Buns also offers an impressive array of cocktails like the Tokyo Twist featuring Hibiki whiskey and yuzu, and the Fir-Fashioned made with Makers Mark and fir tree liqueur.
Refreshing non-alcoholic options include the Citrus Fizz with lemon and orange juice, the Blueberry Delight, and a N/A Marg.
The 1770 House
East Hampton
Located in East Hampton’s historic district on Main Street, The 1770 House is the premier year-round destination for authentic Hamptons fine dining and luxury accommodations. The restaurant is well regarded for serving local bounty, noteworthy wines, five-star service and of course celebrity sightings.
Executive Chef Michael Rozzi presents a sophisticated New American fine dining menu this fall with rotating specials of New American cuisine in the candlelit dining room and in the pub-style fare in the inn’s casual downstairs Tavern. Prix fixe menus are also available in the candlelit dining room and in the Tavern.
Dishes to try this fall include the local beet and baby kale salad with maple-tahini emulsion, roasted corn, Catapano Farm goat’s milk feta, and oat and sesame granola; Pork and shrimp wonton soup in roasted chicken and shellfish broth with sesame, scallions and carrot; and the Milk Pail apple cobbler with oat crumble and buttermilk brown sugar gelato.
