A Record-Breaking Evening of Philanthropy

Nearly 400 supporters gathered under the iconic tents on Wickapogue Road on Saturday, August 2, for the Southampton Hospital Foundation’s 67th Annual Summer Party. The evening raised over $1.6 million to benefit Stony Brook Southampton Hospital and the newly opened Stony Brook East Hampton Emergency Department, marking one of the most successful benefits in the event’s storied history.
A Night in Marrakesh

This year’s theme transformed the venue into a Moroccan-inspired oasis, with rich jewel tones, ornate lanterns, and lush floral arrangements designed by DeJuan Stroud. Guests were transported to a world of colorful elegance from the moment they arrived, complete with henna artistry and the soulful sounds of American Idol alum Christiaan Padavan.
Cocktail Hour

The evening began with a lively cocktail hour featuring The Macklowe’s signature Gold Fashioned and wines from Wölffer Estate Vineyard. Passed hors d’oeuvres showcased a global palette of flavors, from Kobe Beef Franks and Short Rib Croquettes to Mediterranean Lamb Sliders, Maakouda, Spicy Salmon, Mushroom Pipettes, Mediterranean Cucumber Cups, and Vietnamese Vegetable Summer Rolls.
An Inspired Dinner Menu

Elegant Affairs crafted a multi-course menu that celebrated both local and international flavors. Tabletop bites included dates, dried apricots, khubz, and m’lawli, followed by a vibrant cucumber, peach, and tomato salad. Guests enjoyed a dual entrée of Montauk Sea Bass with Ras el Hanout and Petite Filet Mignon, served alongside fine wines.

Desserts were served family-style, offering an indulgent finale of baklava, kunefe, and Turkish delights—perfectly suited to the evening’s Moroccan theme.
