Celebrity trainer and TORCHD creator Isaac Boots is back in the Hamptons with a summer residency at The HUB in Bridgehampton. In this exclusive Q&A, he shares what makes TORCHD more than just a workout, his favorite East End spots, and how he stays grounded during a nonstop, sun-soaked season.
Welcome back to the Hamptons! What does it mean to you to have a permanent summer residency at The HUB after a few years away?
I am so excited because this has always felt like home and especially since we started TORCHD on Instagram during Covid here. I missed being out here because there is just something magical about Summer in the Hamptons.
For those new to your TORCHD workout, how would you describe the experience, and what sets it apart from other fitness classes?
TORCHD is not just a workout; We are a community of likeminded people who want to laugh, and hear all our favorite songs while we get a great peach. Everyone does their own thing and this is a place you can come and be free. I always say we don’t tolerate A**holes because everyone should leave feeling great.

You’re teaching every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 9:30am. What can attendees expect from the vibe and energy of a TORCHD class at The HUB?
The HUB has curated some great brands like Daily Harvest, Cowboy Colostrum, Mckenzie Liautaud, Bluejay Electric Bikes and many more. So, after a great TORCHD workout you can shop with your bestie. They always host a happy hour Friday nights from 6-8pm so it is really about a community.
When you’re not teaching, how do you like to spend your time in the Hamptons? What may a typical day look like for you?
I usually have a few private clients afterward through zoom and then I love to go grab an afternoon Lunch at Hedges Inn or Pierre’s with friends. Then I love to go read for a few hours by the pool. I love a sunset beach walk with my fur babies and husband after 6pm and usually plan a dinner at Il Buco in Amagansett or a festive early dinner at Sunset Beach. But a night in with some Round Swamp Chicken Salad and a scary movie is also great.

How do you personally stay grounded and energized during such an intense summer schedule?
My family and friends. I make time to just be with my husband and our dogs and our close friends. That is always my priority. Summer is about making memories and I love doing that with the people I love. No one throws a chic and fun dinner like Zara Tisch. She is the best hostess and friend and we have so many great moments together.
What are your must have accessories when out and about in the Hamptons this summer season?
My anti-anxiety bed for my dogs. I take it everywhere. They sleep in it during TORCHD, at Lunches and in the car. I also have great Prada collapsable water bowls for them so that is essential. I need my Dr. Barbara Sturm Sunscreen as well, cute Aera NYC Gina Sandal and a loveshackfancy beach towel. For workout wear there is only.. TEREZ. Great colors and styles, fabrics are amazing and I love supporting my friends.
Where do you like to dine out east and what is your go-to order?
Round Swamp Chicken Salad everyday. Moby’s, Hedges Inn, Sisi, Mary Lou’s is a new favorite as well and Pierre’s in Bridgehampton for breakfast!
