It’s Paris meets New York! Benoit, located on west 55th street in midtown Manhattan, is a contemporary French bistro by award-winning, multi-star chef, Alain Ducasse. Transport yourself to a Parisian sidewalk with their new veranda, offering an escape from the busy vibes of NYC.

Alain Ducasse’s restaurant highlights classic French cuisine with a rotating, seasonal menu. Notable dishes include the Croque-monsieur and Hand-chopped beef tartare.

Signature cocktails comprise of the refreshing Le Jardin: cucumber infused gin, lemon, and elderflower; and the elegant Punch Normand: Rothschild Champagne, calvados, strawberries, and grapefruit.

Another favorite to note is their most famous creation, cocktail, Around The Clock. It is crafted with Mezcal, grapefruit, lime, egg white, and red chili peppers.

At the helm of Benoit’s kitchen is Executive Chef Alberto Marcolongo.

For dinner, the menu begins with a selection of hors d’oeuvres like their Spicy Shrimp Ceviche and Roasted & Smoked Eggplant.

For the first course, notable dishes include Fresh sweet pea & mint velouté with ricotta, and golden croutons; escargots; and Tarte flambée: Alsatian thin crust with onions, and bacon.

Salads and sandwiches include the Octopus Salad, Croque-monsieur with mixed greens, and the Benoit Cheeseburger with smoked bacon, and caramelized onions.

For the main course, try the Filet Mignon aux poivre with peppercorn sauce, the Hand-chopped beef tartare, or the Seared Halibut with braised cabbage and capers. The perfect pairing for the Filet Mignon, for example, is the Gratinated cauliflower or pomme frites.

Classic, French desserts make up the last course. These include Tarte Tatin (perfect for sharing), Chocolate Soufflé, Benoit Profiteroles, and homemade ice cream & sorbet, among several other selections.

Exclusively for the month of February, Benoit is celebrating cheesy February with a traditional alpine menu. This winter menu features raclette and tartiflette, paired with Savoy and Jura wines.

Benoit Hours & Information

Benoit New York is open for indoor and outdoor terrace dining for lunch and dinner seven days a week, and brunch on the weekends. Hours are 12-9:30pm daily, except Sunday when dinner is served until 9pm. The French bistro also offers a private dining room for events. Takeout and delivery are also available.
