June is Pride Month, a celebratory month to honor those close to us within the LGBTQ+ community. These Pride Month-inspired recipes featured below will make you want to celebrate all year long. From an over-the-top candy garnished cocktail cocktails to pride-inspired rainbow cookies, there are many fun options for celebrating at home.

Can’t Even Think Straight at Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale

Located inside downtown’s newest skyscraper, Hyatt Centric Las Olas Fort Lauderdale is a chic haven for South Florida locals that offers a nod to the area’s iconic yachting culture. The brand new property just debuted Harborwood Urban Kitchen & Bar. The restaurant on Las Olas Boulevard is a sophisticated and social hub with modern-American fare and al fresco seating.

In honor of Pride Month, they’re offering a signature cocktail, the ‘Can’t Even Think Straight.’ Throughout the month of June, the drink is available for just $5, with $1 from each purchase being donated towards Pride Fort Lauderdale, a local nonprofit organization. This colorful, candy-coated twist on the classic Vodka Sour matches the bright, bold colors of Pride and gives back to a great cause, aiding the LGBTQ community. 1/2 oz Stoli vodka infused with green and yellow skittles

1/2 oz simple syrup

1 oz fresh lemon juice

3 dashes of bitters

1/2 oz egg white

Lips, Bridges and other Red Things at Troutbeck in Amenia, New York

This sense of pride is displayed in Clark Moore’s cocktail you can recreate at home, “Lips, Bridges and Other Red Things.” Clark, Troutbeck’s Beverage Director, developed the cocktail to pay homage to the brilliant red bridge on Troutbeck’s property, resulting in a libation that is equally colorful, special and romantic. This simple and fun Pride Month recipe is below:

Recipe

1.5 oz Byrrh

1 oz Greenhook Ginsmith Old Tom Gin

5 oz Giffard Madagascar Vanilla

5 oz lemon

25 oz Giffard Pamplemousse

Short Dash Scrappy’s Cardamom Bitters 

Directions

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Add ice, shake, and double strain into a chilled Nick & Nora Glass.
