What is better than a fireworks show accompanied by great food and live music? Head to Owen Bell Park in Killingly on Friday, July 1, 2022 to hear live music followed by a fireworks display at 9:15pm. Pack a picnic for your group or enjoy the Owen Bell Park food court’s offerings.
Family 4th of July Celebration
New Canaan
The 41st Annual Family Fourth of July Celebration will begin at 5pm on Saturday, July 2, 2022. Activities will include family picnicking and several gourmet food trucks. Children’s games and bounce-houses will provide fun from 5-7:30pm.
Live music will include “Mind the Gap” from 5:30-7:15 pm, and the Town Band from 7:30-9:15 pm. A spectacular fireworks display is scheduled to start soon thereafter.
2022 Entrance Passes are $35 per car (New Canaan residents only). Non-resident passes will not be sold this year.
Greenwich Fireworks

On Saturday, July 2nd beginning at 7pm, fireworks at Greenwich Point Park and Binney Park will illuminate the sky in celebration of July 4th weekend in Connecticut. Both firework shows are scheduled to begin at approximately 9:10pm. Regular entry rules apply for Greenwich Point Park.
Hartford Yard Goats Game and Fireworks at Dunkin’ Donuts Park

On Sunday, July 3rd, take the family out to the ballpark and cheer on the Yard Goats as they take on the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, the Mets affiliate. Stay after the game for a spectacular firework show celebrating the 4th!
It’s a wonderful night of food, baseball, and 4th of July fun beginning at 7pm.
3D Fireworks at Lake Quassapaug
Middlebury
Middlebury CT’s Quassy Amusement Park offers fireworks with a twist! This is the only venue in CT where families can view fireworks in 3D. Best of all, each purchase of 3D viewing glasses provides a donation to Give Kids The World Village in Kissimmee, FL, an organization that provides vacations to critically ill children.
Fireworks begin Monday, July 4, 2022 at 10:15pm, but families who arrive earlier can enjoy the rides, boating, games and food the amusement park has to offer. Rides and waterpark open at 11am.
4th of July Fireworks
New Milford
The 2022 New Milford Fireworks Celebration will be held on Friday, July 1st. Live music starts at 7pm. Join everyone on the Town Green at 6:30pm for the Opening Ceremony. The rain date is set for Saturday, July 9th. The celebration is organized by the Greater New Milford Chamber of Commerce.
