Ballygally Castle in Northern Ireland on the Causeway Coast is serving guests a festive afternoon tea with mulled wine or prosecco. The experience includes freshly prepared finger sandwiches, home baked scones, pastries, and cakes.

The festive afternoon tea is served daily throughout the month of December.

Castle Hotel Windsor

Castle Hotel Windsor is the perfect setting for anyone looking to experience Christmas like royalty. 

Guests can enjoy a multitude of festive occasions including Festive Afternoon Tea at the hotel with live carols to sing along to. Fresh sandwiches on the menu include Turkey and cranberry mustard mayo on white bread, and Dill gravlax on sunflower and rye bread.

Father Christmas will also be making an appearance with the opportunity for guests to join him for Afternoon Tea. Treats for children include mini chocolate brownies with marshmallows and chocolate sauce, and a selection of mini-Christmas teacakes.

Festive Afternoon Tea at Castle Hotel Windsor includes mini scones, bite-size Christmas treats, and hot chocolate served alongside live children’s entertainment. 

Castle Hotel Windsor’s Festive Afternoon Tea is served daily from 12-5pm until Saturday, December 31st.

The Culloden Estate & Spa is serving daily festive afternoon tea celebrations for the holiday season. Start the afternoon tea experience with demi-tasse of soup, followed by a truly elegant selection of finger sandwiches.

Then, savor warm freshly baked scones, served with indulgent homemade jam and lashings of cream and satisfy your sweet tooth with a delicious array of buttery cakes and pastries. You may choose to upgrade your experience with a glass of mulled wine or champagne.

In addition to their festive afternoon tea, Culloden Estate & Spa is offering a full calendar of Christmas events and activities, including Boxing Day dining specials and New Year’s packages.

Glenapp Castle in Scotland is offering a unique Festive Afternoon Tea experience. At Glenapp Castle, the festive afternoon tea offers a sumptuous selection of sandwiches, from smoked applewood cheese to honey roast ham brioche, followed by a festive selection of sweets.

Sweet treats include a reindeer macaron, walnut praline biscuit and a mandarin choux bun, and more. Glenapp Castle’s festive afternoon tea is available until Thursday, December 23rd. Festive afternoon tea is served daily from 12-5pm.

The Headland Hotel

The five-star Cornish hotel, The Headland Hotel, is offering afternoon tea by the sea with a festive twist this Christmas.

The Headland in Newquay is serving festive sandwiches, homemade scones with lashings of Cornish clotted cream and jam, along with Christmas fancies and cakes to celebrate the season.

The cakes this year include mulled wine trifle, cranberry macaroon, chocolate orange
yule log, homemade Christmas cake and a mince pie.

The Festive Afternoon Tea will be served in the hotel’s multi award-winning restaurant, The
Samphire, with dramatic views over the Atlantic Ocean. The festive afternoon tea will be served until December 23rd.

Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa

Festive afternoon tea is being served at the 15th century Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa. The Swan’s Festive Afternoon Tea begins with a selection of delicate finger sandwiches including smoked salmon and cream cheese and a turkey and cranberry wrap.

Treats include a delicious selection of cakes including a Christmas fruit slice, and a macaron snowman.

Guests may choose from a selection of Newby’s of London teas and infusions. Plus, add a celebratory glass of sparkling Champagne for an extra treat.

The Swan’s Festive Afternoon Tea is being served throughout December beginning at 12pm Monday to Saturday and from 2:30pm on Sundays. Advanced bookings are essential.
