144 On The Hill

Richmond


144 On the Hill at Richmond Hill Hotel has created a three-tiered Halloween themed afternoon tea in celebration of the scary season. Perfect as a compliment to a half-term getaway, their afternoon tea is a ‘spooktacular’ twist on traditional afternoon tea.

Their Halloween Afternoon Tea is available from October 30th-November 1st. Their children’s afternoon tea is £16 per child and they receive a ghostly soft drink.

Assembly House

Norwich

Assembly House in Norwich, Norfolk in the UK is offering a Halloween Afternoon Tea from October 21st to the 31st. Delectable finger sandwiches and fun, ghoulish treats await like a ‘vampire gingerbread’, red velvet cake, devilish chocolate mousse, macarons, and more.

Additional treats to celebrate the season include The Fangs A Lot Freakshake, and the Vampire’s Kiss cocktail for the adults.

Afternoon tea is served from 12-4:30pm. Later service is available until 6pm every Friday and Saturday in October, and from Monday the 26th to Thursday, October 29th.

Ballygally Castle

Hastings Hotels’ Ballygally Castle on Northern Ireland’s famous Causeway Coastal Route will be holding special Halloween themed Afternoon Teas from Monday, October 26th until Sunday, November 1st. There is a selection of ghostly delights and mouth-watering treats for guests to sink their teeth into.

The castle dates back to 1625. It is the only 17th century building still used as a residence in Northern Ireland today. One of the castle’s ‘resident ghosts‘ is believed to be that of Lady Isabella Shaw, wife of Lord James Shaw.

Afternoon tea is £23 per adult and £10 per child.

Brigit’s Bakery

London

Brigit’s Bakery based in London is offering a Halloween Afternoon Tea menu with seasonal treats from the bakery including pumpkin macarons, ‘webbed cupcakes’, pumpkin tartlets, and more.

There is of course finger sandwiches and the obligatory freshly baked scone with jam and clotted cream. They have also partnered with Jimini’s to offer a ‘truly creepy crawly’ experience.

Brigit’s Bakery bus tours are approximately 90 minutes and are running on the 30th and 31st of October. The tours depart from Victoria Coach Station. £45 per adult.

They are also offering a Peppa Pig Halloween Bus Tour.

Oatlands Park Hotel

Surrey

Treat the whole the family to such a frightfully good Halloween Afternoon Tea, they will forget all about missing trick-or-treating this year.

At Oatlands Park Hotel in Surrey, there are plenty of devilish delights to enjoy. These include including artisan finger sandwiches, warm scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, as well as Halloween themed cakes and pastries created by their head pastry chef. There’s a meringue ghost, pumpkin-shaped lemon cake, gravestone flourless brownie and blackcurrant bug cake!

Halloween Afternoon Tea at Oatlands Park Hotel ifs rom Monday, October 26th until October 31st. It is served from 3-5pm in the Mulberry Restaurant and in the Drawing Room.

£26.95 per person weekdays/ £28.95 per person weekends. Children (3-12 years) £15 per child, and under 3’s go free! Maximum table size of 6 persons. Advanced reservations and full pre-payment are required to hold the table.
