We share the healthy energy bites recipes below for you to enjoy at home as part of your at-home spa experience, or simply as a post-workout treat.

Cacao Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 1⁄3 cup Organic Alkalised Cocoa Powder
  • 16 dried dates
  • 7 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • 1 teaspoon acai
  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 4 cups organic macadamia nuts
  • For topping: amaranth, chia, hemp seeds and grated coconut

Preparation

Chop the dates in a food processor before adding the cocoa, maca, honey, coconut oil, oats, acai and macadamia nuts.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and mix until well combined. Roll into 2 cm balls and finish with the toppings of your choice.

Cranberry-Orange Energy Bites

Ingredients

(Makes 23 energy bites)

  • 14 dried dates
  • 1 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon grated coconut
  • 1 teaspoon orange zest
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation

Chop the dates in a food processor before adding the rest of the ingredients: oats, maca,
honey, grated coconut, cinnamon and orange zest.

Pour into a bowl and mix until well combined. Roll into 2 cm balls.

Carrot Energy Bites

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons grated carrot
  • 14 dried dates
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • 1⁄2 cup dried cranberries
  • 2 cups slivered almonds
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • For topping: grated coconut

Preparation

Chop the dates in the food processor before adding the rest of the ingredients: maca, dried
cranberries, almonds, honey and two tablespoons of grated carrot.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and stir in the remaining two tablespoons of grated carrot. When well combined, roll into 2 cm balls and top with grated coconut.

Matcha-Pistachio Energy Bites

  • 14 dried dates
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 1 teaspoon almond butter
  • 2 teaspoons matcha
  • 1 teaspoon maca
  • 3⁄4 cup cashews
  • 1⁄2 cup pistachios
  • 1 1⁄2 tablespoons honey
  • For topping: 1 teaspoon matcha and 1⁄2 teaspoon pistachios

Preparation

Chop the dates in a food processor before adding the rest of the ingredients: maca, coconut oil, honey, pistachios, almond butter, matcha and cashews.

Pour the mixture into a bowl and mix until well combined. Roll into 2 cm balls and dust with
matcha and pistachios.
