Main Beach, East Hampton

Long Beach, Sag Harbor
Get ready for a summer of fun and adventure at Long Beach Park! Officially known as Foster Memorial, this public Southampton Town Beach is the perfect destination for families looking for sun, sand, and fun.
Located on Noyac Bay, Long Beach Park offers calm waters great for boating and fishing, scenic routes for cycling, and a spot for sunbathers. Senior citizen, resident, and non-resident seasonal permits are accepted. Lifeguards are on duty to ensure your safety from 10 am to 5 pm during summer.
Even furry family members can join the fun, as pets are allowed on designated dog walk routes, parking areas, and paved footpaths, but they must be kept on a leash and are prohibited in buildings, on the beach, and in picnic areas. Camping, alcohol, bonfires, glass containers, unsupervised children, loud music, graffiti, and littering are prohibited. Residents can obtain a beach barbecue permit after 6 pm from the Parks & Recreation Office.
Parking permits are required between May 15 and June 25 from 9 am-6 pm and anytime between July 1 and Labor Day. Daily passes are available at Long Beach. The beach closes at 9 pm. There is drive-on access but only with a Southampton Town Trustees 4×4 beach driving permit. Get your sunscreen ready and come for a fun day at Long Beach Park!
Coopers Beach, Southampton
Coopers Beach in Southampton Village is located at Meadow Road. It ran approximately 500 feet along the Atlantic Ocean shoreline, offering stunning views. The beach is open from May to September and offers many activities, relaxation, and sunbathing opportunities.
Non-residents and residents can purchase a pass to access the beach. You can also park your car at the beach during open hours. A sticker from the Village of Southampton, New York, must appear on your vehicle between 9:30 am and 5 pm. A seasonal parking sticker is available at the Village Hall for Southampton residents. It’s valid for the entire season. Only village residents are eligible for the sticker. The beach is a beautiful place to unwind and escape the week’s stresses.
Coopers Beach has designated areas where you can surf or launch a boat. A lifeguard protects the beach. Camping, tents, alcohol consumption, and keeping animals on leashes or nudity are prohibited. An extensive list of rules and regulations for Coopers Beach access is displayed prominently along the beach.
Flying Point Beach, Water Mill
Embark on an adventure at Flying Point Beach in Water Mill! With exciting amenities like volleyball, fishing, and kayaking, this beach is perfect for thrill-seekers and outdoor enthusiasts. But don’t worry. The beach is accessible with a seasonal permit, available for purchase for both residents and non-residents of Water Mill. Take a break, enjoy a picnic in the designated area, shower, or grab a bite from the mobile food stand.
For those who love to drive on the beach with ATVs, you can do that too with a Southampton Town Trustees 4×4 beach driving permit. Just follow the prohibition of 9am to 6pm between the Friday before Memorial Day and September 15.
Pets are allowed but must be controlled by the owner, just not between April 1st and October 1st. However, camping, alcohol, bonfires, glass containers, and tents are always prohibited.
