New Partnerships and Philanthropy
The Food and Wine Festival is also excited to share that they began a partnership with Councilwoman Dr. Lisa Davis that will focus on diversity, equity and inclusion at the festival. To date, SOBEWFF has raised more than $31.8 million for the Chaplin School of Hospitality & Tourism Management at FIU. The Chaplin School graduates more undergraduate Black, Hispanic and international students than any other hospitality school in the country.
Additionally, the SOBEWFF Artisan Food Market on Lincoln Road has morphed into a larger seasonal event. More than 75 vendors from around South Florida have the opportunity to sell their small batch artisanal creations on the iconic Miami Beach Street. The Food Market is taking place from November 2021 until April 2022.
