Whether you have a special occasion to attend or simply out and about in London, Duck & Dry is the place to be for a “ducking good” blow dry bar London. Walking into any Duck & Dry location will make you feel right at home. Friendly staff, gorgeous floral details and comfy chairs for sipping tea or a glass of prosecco pre or post beauty treatment are some of many reasons Duck & Dry should be in bold in your little black book of beauty whilst in London.
Duck & Dry Mayfair
We visited their Mayfair location, within walking distance of Bond Street, Claridge’s, the famous Anabel’s, Hyde Park, and Marble Arch. The cutest accessory to the blow dry is right when you walk in: a pretty seat that models an open bird cage. A perfect spot to sit and snap a photo to later show off your latest blow dry or up do before you spread your wings and be off to your next destination.
The front desk staff are super friendly. They offered all guests walking in a complimentary spot of coffee, tea or water. Just as engaging are the stylists who talk you through your hair style from start to finish. For those who have finer hair, Va Va Voom is your go-to style where modern glamour meets red carpet chic. This style will last you throughout your day, and especially in and out of those unpredictable London weather elements.
Some of our favorite up do styles include the Perfect Fishtail: an elegant fishtail braid with side parting; and the Sixties Siren: a retro beehive, half up or all up.
Duck & Dry is so much more than a blow dry bar London! Though a visit to Duck & Dry is never complete without experiencing one of their signature up dos or blow dries, they also have a nail bar, and brow bar that specializes in brows and lashes.
Bubbles & Blow Dries
For the upcoming Valentine’s Day (and a perfect Galentine’s Day treat), Duck & Dry has a collaboration with Mirabeau Wine where they will be offering complimentary rosé to clients in all stores.
