Sushi By Bou Makes Its Mark in Miami Beach

Sushi by Bou in Miami Beach has recently debuted two new dining concepts, each highlighting the Omakase sensation every sushi lover must experience.

Sushi by Bou’s first oceanfront concept, Sushi by Bou Beach Club at the Marriott Residence Inn Pompano Beach, has officially opened its 10-seat sushi bar to the public. The restaurant offers breathtaking ocean views with an expertly crafted hourly omakase menu.

In June, the restaurant will launch an eclectic Izakaya menu in complement to the sushi bar, seating an additional 80 diners between inside dining and wood-hewn outdoor tables. The addition of an a la carte Izakaya sharing menu which will feature everything from Sweet & Sour Chicken and Waffles with grilled pineapple and sweet and sour sauce, to pan-seared Miso-Glazed Eggplant topped with Japanese mayo.

In addition, the “chef’s choice” Omakase menu is a spirited 12-course interactive journey through fresh, locally sourced and flown in fish. Over the course of the allotted hour, guests will enjoy an array of nigiri sushi ranging from Bluefin tuna, Otoro, marinated Ikura, Uni sea urchin, and fatty tuna to Unagi and Hokkaido scallop topped with charcoal salt.

Signature handmade concoctions include Casa Yuzu: tequila reposado, yuzu, honey syrup, lemon wheel and pink peppercorns; and Flower Bomb: Casamigos Blanc, sake, butterfly pea syrup, yuzu juice and lavender bitters to name a few.

Seatings are priced at $50 per person.

Dinner Omakase seatings at the restaurant sushi bar are open Monday thru Thursday from 5-10pm; Friday and Saturday from 5pm to midnight, and for lunch on Saturday and Sunday from 12-3pm.

Sushi by Bou at the Gianni Versace Suite

In addition the Sushi by Bou Beach Club, they also are located inside the Gianni Versace Suite at the former Versace Mansion. There, they recently debuted a Bou-gie Brunch experience.

Accommodating up to eight diners for an afternoon of dazzling nigiri and knife play presenting 17-courses, the restaurant offers signature brunch libations within an intimate speakeasy setting. The Bou-gie Brunch will be offered on Saturday and Sunday from 12-4pm.

The experience begins at the G-Lounge, a 25-seat breezy bar lounge overlooking Ocean Drive that is adjacent to the original Gianni Versace Suite.

Brunch is priced at $125 per person. It will feature 17-courses of handcrafted nigiri sushi ranging from Hamachi yellowtail, Bluefin tuna, marinated Ikura, Uni sea urchin, and fatty tuna to Wagyu and Uni surf and turf and Hokkaido scallop topped with charcoal salt.

Seats are released one month in advance. Sushi by Bou, located at the Villa Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion, is open Monday-Wednesday from 3pm-midnight; Thursday and Friday from 3-8pm; and for brunch and dinner on Saturday and Sunday from 12-8pm.

In Miami, Chef Wenjie Lian (aka Chef Miami Mike) heads the sushi bar. The menu rotates regularly and features the freshest, locally and globally sourced seafood. Chef Miami Mike will guide guests through the tasting by naming and describing each individual piece.
