Prêt–à–Portea Celebrates the Platinum Jubilee
The Berkeley
From Monday, May 30th to Sunday, June 12th, Prêt-à-Portea at The Berkeley in London will be served with three special creations to represent one of Her Majesty’s most iconic fashion signatures.
First, one of the Queen’s most summery hats has been crafted with lime cheesecake, fresh lemon compote, and almond sponge, finished with a flowery garnish.
British label Launer London has long been Her Majesty’s handbag brand of choice. The Berkeley pastry team pay homage with a blueberry Victoria sponge iced with mirror glaze, sandwiched with ivoire chocolate.
Finally, The Crown has been created in vanilla biscuit and iced with burgundy, red and white royal icing.
Sandwiches will include Roast Norfolk chicken with coronation dressing on rye bread.
A signature mocktail on the menu is ‘Superbloom’, named after the flower installation taking place at the Tower of London for the Jubilee. It is a blend of non-alcoholic gin and earl grey tea (nodding to the Queen’s favorite tipples) with sweet violette bitters, rhubarb and raspberry tonic. For those who want to make it a little stronger, the tonic will make way for Laurent Perrier Rosé.

The Biltmore Mayfair
Located in London’s prestigious Grosvenor Square, The Biltmore Mayfair is famous for accommodating our four-legged friends. In honor of the Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee, this five star property will be hosting a Corgi Afternoon Tea.
On Friday, May 27th at 2pm, dog lovers and corgi owners alike are invited to gather at Café Biltmore terrace to enjoy a Jubilee-themed afternoon tea and doggie afternoon tea, in partnership with Barkers Bakery. Guests can a picture of your corgi at Café Biltmore, tagging the hotel, and have the chance of winning an overnight luxury break in one of the hotel’s suites with afternoon tea at Jason Atherton’s Café Biltmore and complimentary amenities for their four-legged best friend.
The Biltmore Mayfair’s Jubilee afternoon tea menu includes British classics such as coronation chicken, roast beef and smoked salmon sandwiches, scones and jam, tarts and sweet treats a selection of teas and a glass of bubbles. The Jubilee tea will be available on Friday, May 27th for the corgi event, and on June 4th and 5th 2022.

Castle Hotel Windsor
Castle Hotel Windsor’s Queen’s Jubilee Afternoon Tea, designed by Executive Head Chef Suraj Lokhande, includes a variety of freshly made sandwiches, featuring a Jubilee Coronation chicken wrap with garden leaves and a Severn & Wye Smoked Salmon pinwheel with caviar on rye bread.
The pastries and sweets include freshly baked fruit or plain scones and a plethora of delicious patisseries such as the Royal Union Jack cupcake and a Jubilant Macaroon sandwich. Combined with a refreshing glass of champagne or a glass of Windsor Great Park Sparkling wine for a truly regal afternoon.
The Jubilee Afternoon Tea will be available throughout 2022 at Castle Hotel Windsor from 12-5pm.
Platinum Jubilee Champagne Afternoon Tea Cruise
City Cruises London
City Cruises will be launching a commemorative Jubilee Champagne Afternoon Tea Cruise, taking place June 2-5th. Cruises will depart from Westminster Pier at 3:30pm and will sail for two hours.
The Platinum Jubilee Champagne Afternoon Tea Cruise will include a delectable menu of savoury and sweet treats inspired by Royal icons both past and present. The cruise will sail past some of London’s most iconic landmarks. Landmarks include the Houses of Parliament and the Tower of London. Guests will also receive a commemorative coin keepsake to remember their trip on this historic occasion.

Celebrate the Queen’s Jubilee at Fairmont Windsor Park, located next to Windsor Castle. The new English countryside hotel is offering a specially designed Jubilee Afternoon Tea until July 5th in Fairmont Windsor Park’s Orchid Tea Room.
Guests are invited to savor handmade creations from the expert Pâtisserie and Chocolatier team, spearheaded by Pastry Sous Chef, Swapnil Sawant, alongside a world-class tea selection and fine Champagne.
The curated menu includes mouthwatering Coronation Chicken and Scottish Smoked Salmon Sandwiches. Sweet treats include the New Forest strawberry Royal and Dulce De Leche Granny Smith Apples, and more.
Superbloom Afternoon Tea
The Orchid Lounge at Pan Pacific London
Executive Pastry Chef Cherish Finden has given Afternoon Tea at The Orchid Lounge a royal makeover. This stunning presentation is inspired by the wildflower Superbloom installation at the nearby Tower of London.
The menu will feature a selection of teas by The Rare Tea Company. There is also a non-alcoholic bubbly option by French Bloom to pair with petit fours, in addition to a glass English sparkling wine with official partner, Gusbourne.
The Superbloom Afternoon Tea an array of handmade sweet and savory delights adorned with motifs of the Platinum Jubilee. Guests will enjoy a selection of sandwiches like Coronation Chicken on Harissa Bread, a Corgi Dog Shortbread, and beautiful show-stopping creations in honor of the occasion. These include The Wild Rose: An English rose macaron with strawberry and lime jelly, and Lemon Meringue: British lemon shortbread with lemon curd and lemon mousse.
The Superbloom Afternoon Tea is available until August 31st.
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea
The Rubens at the Palace
Queen’s Platinum Jubilee Afternoon Tea at The Rubens at The Palace will be offered from June 2nd until August 2022. Located close to Buckingham Palace, the six-course afternoon tea experience inspired by the Queen’s known favorites.
The amuse-bouche will be a Coronation Chicken Sausage Roll. This is made using the recipe that was used for the chicken dish on the day of the Queen’s coronation in 1952. Savoury items to follow include Scottish Smoked Salmon & Chive Cream Cheese on a Bagel, as well as Cucumber & Lemon Crème Fraiche on Norfolk Crunch. For the entrée, The Rubens at The Palace pay homage to Her Majesty’s love for gin and dubonnet.
Sweets include The Crown: a White Chocolate & Coconut Mousse with an Orange Chocolate Brownie, and The Rubens’ interpretation of a Jam Penny: a mousse with a chocolate penny on top of a biscuit cake. Also on the menu is an Orchard Fruit which references the Orangery at Kensington Palace. Lastly, there is the Lemon Tart with Raspberry Jelly and Crispy Mint Meringue. The Lemon Tart is in honor of Her Majesty’s love for lemon curd.

TĪNG Lounge at Shangri-La The Shard is serving the Skyline Jubilee Afternoon Tea. This commemorative afternoon tea features a stunning miniature chocolate and raspberry Shard building for two to share.
A selection of finger sandwiches and savories are on the menu. These include the Mary rose and caviar and almond tart with marinated courgette and basil.
Jubilee themed desserts include The Pearl of the Queen: a pearlescent tonka, vanilla and strawberry gateaux. Another sweet treat as part of the Skyline Jubilee Afternoon Tea is the crowned lime and blueberry ‘Jubilee tart’. Enjoy a glass of Nyetimber Classic Cuvée or Nyetimber Rosé alongside a selection of Shangri-La and Camellia teas.
Following the afternoon tea experience, sip a Jubilee Cocktail at GŎNG, the highest hotel bar in Western Europe. The cocktail is an Asian-inspired reinterpretation of the Queen’s favorite tipple, the Dubonnet. This Jubilee inspired cocktail is crafted with gin, violet and strawberry liqueur, a splash of blue curacao, and Japanese Shōchū, decorated with a delicate flower.
