The 14th Mango Madness Festival
The Caribbean’s famed Jade Mountain in St. Lucia gears up to host its 14th Mango Madness Festival. It features a series of mango-focused dinners, mixology experiences, and organic mango harvesting tours.
The festival features the famous signature 25# Mango Mojitos, to the Night of 1000 Mangos Dinner. The dinner includes a five-course luxury dinner consisting of the sweet fruit.
Mango-lovers can also enjoy interactive and educational classes such as harvesting tours or cooking classes, offering the opportunity to concoct anything from sticky mango jam to zesty mango chutney.
Those seeking ultimate relaxation can indulge in a relieving mango massage, body scrub or nourishing body wrap. Guests may also pursue a leisurely meander through the Anse Mamin plantation tour or delight in some retail therapy. Choose from an exotic array of candles, soaps, and other mango-themed offerings at the resort’s boutiques.

“Jade Mountain’s Emerald Farm is home to an abundance of mango trees. For more than a decade, we’ve celebrated the summer harvest with a mango festival featuring live cooking demos, mango mixology classes, organic farm tours, and more,” said James Beard Award-Winning Chef, Allen Susser.
The Brooklyn-born chef has more than 30 years of experience in the kitchen. His experience ranges from Le Bristol Hotel and Le Cirque restaurant in New York City to his own concept in South Florida, Chef Allen’s. He is a member of St. Lucia’s local mango board, and has been working with Jade Mountain for more than a decade.
He recently debuted an award-winning cookbook, Green Fig & Lionfish, that showcases his vast experience in Caribbean cuisine with guest recipes by celebrity chefs that include Jose Andres, Andrew Zimmern, and Nina Compton.
